 About The consulting firm of R. F. Sayre Associates was formed January 1, 1969, by Richard F. Sayre. In 1996, Dick and his partners sold the firm to Doug Berkland, Steve Quincey, Eugene Maurice and Monty Miller. The name was changed to “Sayre Associates, Inc.” in March of 2001 and the growing firm moved to our current location. In 2011, the ownership extends to seven professional engineers and land surveyors with over 180 years of combined experience. Principals in the firm now include Doug Berkland, Jeff Boldt, Doug Hoy, Paul Korn, Eugene Maurice, Monty Miller and Thad Roberts. Over the years, the company has grown in size and engineering capabilities, but our values have never changed.
We are a full-service civil engineering firm with a full-time staff of 21, including 10 registered engineers and three land surveyors. We provide planning services, topographic surveying, engineering design, construction surveying and construction administration services. We also have expertise in transportation engineering, drainage, erosion control, wetland delineation and mitigation.
Our survey crews utilize the latest technology in survey equipment with Trimble 5600 and S6 robotic stations and Trimble R8 GPS systems. Our survey personnel are educated and experienced in the use of the equipment and exhibit a high degree of professionalism dealing with clients and contractors.
The technical staff of Sayre Associates has extensive knowledge and experience in site design, street construction and surveying practices. Our technical staff is directly involved in projects from day one to completion and offer valuable insight, project input and objective viewpoints for every project.
